Congratulations to ANU Staff recognised at AAANZ Conference

At the 2018 Art Association of Australia and New Zealand (AAANZ) Conference, 'Aesthetics, Politics and Histories: The Social Context of Art' (Dec 2018, School of Art, RMIT University) a number of ANU School of Art & Design Staff were awarded prizes. 

 

Congratulations to the following staff:

 

- Associate Professor Brenda L Croft for Best Writing by an Indigenous Australian Prize for “Still in my mind: Gurindji Experience, Location and Visuality.”

 

- Alex Burchmore was awarded Best Scholarly Article in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Art Prize for “Negotiating ‘Chinese-Australian’ Identity: Ah Xian’s Dr John Yu (2004) and his China China Series (1998-2004).”
