Congratulations to Dr Elisa deCourcy, Research Fellow in the School of Art & Design, who has a received a publication subsidy from the Australian Academy of the Humanities for Empire, Early Photography and Spectacle: The Global Career of Showman Daguerreotypist J.W. Newland. The book, co-authored with Honorary Associate Professor Martyn Jolly, will be out with Bloomsbury Academic next year.
