ANU School of Art staff and students recently presented work at Beijing Design Week in ‘Crafting Connections: Beijing-Canberra, sister cities and cultural capitals’, an exhibition aimed at creating a dialogue between craft and design communities in Canberra and Beijing.

Rohan Nicol, Head of the Gold & Silversmithing Workshop, and Gilbert Riedelbauch, Head of Foundation Studies, attended the event which was held in a tiny 10 square meter space in the centre of Dashilar houtong district. The show attracted a crowd of 5,000 people over 12 days.
