Dr Chaitanya Sambrani presents at APT8 Conference

Dr Chaitanya Sambrani, Senior Lecturer in the ANU School of Art Centre for Art History and Art Theory, presented recently at the APT8 Conference at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane.

The conference is held in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT) exhibition, which focuses on current work from Asia, the Pacific and Australia.

The APT8 Conference featured artists, researchers, and curators from Australia, Asia and the Pacific who explored some of the key conceptual interests of the exhibition.

Dr Chaitanya Sambrani gave a paper titled “Swarna Sings the Titanic: The Vernacular as Cosmopolitan Currency”.
