Opening on Thursday February 14 at 6pm, CraftACT is opening Emerging Contemporaries.

Emerging Contemporaries features fourteen graduates from the ANU, UC, CIT, Sturt School for Wood, Enmore and Charles Sturt University. This Craft ACT curated award exhibition series showcases graduating students and emerging artists and practitioners across the craft and design spectrum that are making bold strides into the professional sphere.

The award is part of the ANU School of Art Emerging Artist Support Scheme (EASS) that encourages and supports students as they transition from the university to becoming practicing artists.

The opening coincides with the opening of an exhibition by Glass Workshop alumna Christine Atkins called Nature's Rhythm.
