Helen Ennis to speak in Olive Cotton and Max Dupain forum at the Ian Potter Museum of Art

Professor Helen Ennis is presenting in a forum associated with the exhibition of photographs by Olive Cotton and Max Dupain at the Ian Potter Museum of Art

She will be joined by Dr Isobel Crombie, Assistant Director, National Gallery of Victoria and Shaune Lakin, Curator of Photography at the National Gallery of Australia. The panel will discuss the influential part that Olive Cotton and Max Dupain played in the generation of Australian photographers working in the 1930s and ‘40s.

The forum is held in conjunction with Max and Olive: the photographic life of Olive Cotton and Max Dupain, the first exhibition to bring together Dupain and Cotton’s work and comprehensively explore their shared lives and practices.
