Staff and students from the Centre for Art History and Art Theory (CAHAT) have just returned from their inaugural in-country intensive on Indonesian art, having visited museums, galleries, archaeological sites and workshops across Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Magelang, Denpasar and Ubud. In collaboration with Chaitanya Sambrani's Indonesian colleagues, students were offered unprecedented access to the workings of the Indonesian art world.

CAHAT intends to offer this 12-unit course every two years.In-country intensive: Indonesian art
