On Saturday May 18, LINKS: Australian Glass and the Pacific Northwest opened at Museum of Glass, Tacoma, Washington in the United States. The exhibition features 21 artists from Australia and 5 from America all working in the contemporary glass medium. The exhibition has nearly 100 works and a vast majority of the artists are either staff or alumni of the ANU School of Art Glass Workshop. Some of the artists included are Cobi Cockburn, Nadège Desgenétez, Mel Douglas, Klaus Moje, Stephen Proctor, Kirstie Rea and Richard Whiteley. All these artists promote the workshop as of one of the leading institutions in Australian studio glass.

The Panel featured Nadege Desgenetez, Dick Marquis, Dante Marioni, Jeremy Lepisto and Klaus Moje with Richard Whiteley, ANU School of Art Glass Workshop Head, as moderator.
