Wins ANU ResearchFest research note comp‏

The Research Note competition is an opportunity to develop your written research communication skills. It's one of the competitions within this year's ResearchFest. As a research student, you will have 300 words to engage your readers with your research and its significance, to an intelligent general audience.

The exercise helps the development of your ability to communicate your ideas and thoughts successfully in writing, to a non-technical audience. This is an important skill for life during and after your PhD/MPhil. As well, the effort of condensing your thoughts into no more than 300 words can have benefits for your overall research.

Matt Higgins who is doing a MPhil in Photography won 1st place and $500.
