From August 1 to 31, Sabbia Gallery in Sydney will host an exhibition of new work by Mel Douglas titled point.line.plane.
Mel is a highly regarded alumna of the School of Art Glass Workshop and now assists in the workshop.
She has exhibited consistently in many group and solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally including the United States of America, Singapore and Italy.
Mel has been featured in numerous publications and her work is held in such prestigious permanent collections as the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, Australia and the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning New York, USA.
The exhibition is highly anticipated in Sydney and will be launched at 6:45pm by Glenn Barkley, Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Sabbia Gallery has a reputation for exhibiting the highest quality studio glass and ceramic work from around Australia and is located at 120 Glenmore Road, Paddington, NSW.
