Second year School of Art student Melissa Nickols has been awarded an ANU Student Extracurricular Enrichment Fund (SEEF) grant to help cover costs for seven students from the ANU Furniture Workshop to participate in making work for the interstate competition and exhibition Create from a Crate

The students involved are Melissa Nickols, Pamela Whitaker, Ryan Robinette, Jeremy Brown, Clare Solomon, Wayne Creaser and Ross Peake. The grant will cover photography, freight and insurance of the work and travel expenses/accommodation in Melbourne, along with marketing collateral. 

The exhibition takes place in early 2016 and the group are also planning on having an exhibition in Canberra when the work returns from Melbourne.
