Wednesday 1 March 2017

Head of ANU School of Art and Design Printmedia and Drawing workshop Alison Alder has just unveiled her new exhibition of prints developed through a year-long fellowship with the Australian Prime Ministers Centre at the Museum of Australian Democracy.

Onetoeight is a series of portraits of Australia’s first eight prime ministers set against vibrant patterned wallpaper incorporating portraits of each of their wives. It also includes the ‘Term-O-Meter’, an animation that tracks political changes during the those prime ministers' terms.

Onetoeight is now showing at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House until February 2018.
