Oscar Capezio awarded the Janet Wilkie Prize for Art History

ANU School of Art alumnus Oscar Capezio has been awarded the Janet Wilkie Prize for Art History. Oscar was the highest achiever in his Honours year in Art History and Curatorship in the Centre for Art History and Art Theory in 2015. His thesis was on artist Alex Danko’s self-portraiture between 1970 and 2013.

In March 2016, Oscar will curate COLD LIKE CONCRETE, an exhibition that examines an intersection of literary and auto-poetic experimentation in visual art. As part of Noted Festival, it opens at the School of Art Foyer Gallery on Tuesday the March 15th and continuing until March 20th.
