On December 11, Minister for the Arts, Joy Burch, announced the recipients of the ACT Arts Fund for 2014.

Over $1.8 million will be provided across three categories with several ANU School of Art staff and alumni awarded grants in the Project Funding Category.

PhD graduate and Gallery staff member, Jay Kochel was awarded over $11,000 to develop a new body of work. Textiles Honours graduate and current Technical Officer in Textiles, Jemima Parker was awarded over $6,000 to also develop a new body of work.

The list of alumni who received grants includes Blaide Lallemand, Dan Lorrimer, Sarah Mason, Phoebe Porter and Kensuke Todo. Each have received grants from between $7,000 and over $20,000 to develop new projects and exhibitions.
