We are thrilled to announce and congratulate Reuben Bokaba, a student in the Textiles workshop, who won the Chief Minister’s Prize, which was announced at the opening of ‘Flagging our Future’ by Minister for Arts, Joy Burch.

Bokaba created beautifully executed garments which will go on display in the Legislative Assembly for a year. The project came about through the repurposing of flags from last year’s Centenary of Canberra for new works of art for the Centenary Flag Project exhibition. An initiative by Craft ACT, students created new work to the theme ‘Flagging our Future’.
