Review of Defying Empire: The Third National Indigenous Triennial by Dr Sarah Scott

Dr Sarah Scott, Lecturer in the Centre for Art History and Art Theory recently published a review of Defying Empire: The Third National Indigenous Triennial which was held at the National Gallery of Australia during 2017. Scott, examines the political context that surrounded the opening of the exhibition which coincided both with the release of the Uluru statement from the Heart presented to the Australian Government on 26th May 2017 and with the 50th anniversary of the 67 referendum.
