ANU School of Art & Design Gallery - Response to COVID-19

Based upon the advice from our expert panel, the ANU has already taken the step of cancelling all public and social events from Monday 16 March until the end of semester one (Saturday 20 June). With the knowledge that COVID-19 is predicted to have further impacts in Australia and cancellations are likely to continue, the School of Art & Design Gallery has made the very difficult decision to cancel or postpone a number of exhibitions.

Please know that this is not a decision that has been taken lightly, and has been made as a preventative measure for the safety of exhibitors, staff and visitors.

We share the disappointment of exhibitors and the Gallery community that we cannot deliver exhibitions at this time.  We are conscious of the significant time and resources artists and curators invest in exhibitions, and hope that making the decision to cancel and postpone these events early will be the best outcome in a difficult situation.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will update this webpage with any changes to our Gallery program as the situation develops and as new advice becomes available.
