Thursday 22 August 2013

Science Fiction is the latest Canberra Centenary exhibition to be held at Canberra Contemporary Art Space (CCAS) Gorman House. Curated by CCAS director David Broker, the exhibition is a double show of Erica Seccombe's Monster and Benjamin Forster's Kynic. Both artists are graduates from the Printmedia and Drawing Workshop and Erica is a current PhD candidate in the Photography and Media Arts Workshop.

Erica's work (pictured) features 3D printed objects, and three dimensional projections from three dimensional x-ray micro-tomography scans. Benjamin's work also explores scientific reality and its mutations, his career has gone from strength to strength recently selected in the Museum of Contemporary Art's Primavera exhibition.

Science Fiction is on at CCAS Gorman House from August 16 to September 28. Find out more at CCAS exhibitions.
