Tom Buckland, a student in Sculpture at the School of Art wins significant local art award. Tom was awarded the main prize in the Capital Chemist Art Award held at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre with “Self Portrait – Monday through Thursday”. Tom will be exhibiting his graduating work at the School of Art annual graduation exhibition opening at the ANU School of Art 6 pm, 28th November. The runner up in the Capital Chemist Award was Barak Zelig an alumni of Printmaking Workshop at the School of Art and the prize was judged by Ingeborg Hansen and Jas Hugonnet.
