Higher Degrees by Research students at the School of Art & Design work under close supervision of academic staff in their discipline area. PhD candidates at the School are able to present their work as a Thesis in Standard Format (as a dissertation up to 100,000 words) or as Thesis by Creative Works. FUSE Glass Prize

Presented by JamFactory, the FUSE Glass Prize is a non-acquisitive biennial prize for Australian and New Zealand glass artists. The winner of the FUSE Glass Prize will receive a cash prize of AU$20,000. In addition, the winner of the David Henshall Emerging Artist Prize will receive AU$5,000 cash and a professional development opportunity at JamFactory valued at a further AU$5,000.

2024 ANU School of Art & Design Drawing Prize

The ANU School of Art & Design Drawing Prize showcases and celebrates the breadth and depth of drawing practice within the ANU School of Art & Design. The Prize is an annual event open to all current students enrolled in one or more courses in Semester 2 at the ANU School of Art & Design.
