Foundry casts new bust for Physics Department

Friday 30 August 2013

Last week the ANU Physics Department unveiled a new sculpture in honour of the founding head, Professor Barry Ninham. The bust is a piece by Ante Dabro, a former School of Art staff member, which was cast at the ANU School of Art Sculpture Workshop by foundry expert Nick Stranks.

The unveiling is the latest development in relations between the School of Art and the Physics Department. The most significant research relationship coming from PhD candidate Erica Seccombe’s long standing collaboration with Tim Senden as his team.
