Additional information FAQ

This program addresses the need for affordable short-term studios in Canberra. It is best suited to creatives who want a space to work develop their practice, need a short-term studio while on a waiting list for a permanent space, or have returned to Canberra and want to reconnect. It is not a mentoring program or a substitute for Higher Degree Research programs.

There is no stipend or additional funding associated with this program. In exchange for your free studio, we ask for some in-kind contribution to the community. Such as a participation in outreach events, delivering an artist’s talk, and/or participating in group crits.

This is the first round of applications in what is hoped to be a 6 monthly call out. Unsuccessful applicants may apply again.
