At Home in the World: the art and life of Gulammohammed Sheikh, edited by art historian, curator, and senior lecturer at the Centre for Art History and Art Theory, Dr. Chaitanya Sambrani, was launched by Vadhera Art Gallery and the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) on 17 February 2019.

The 464-page volume presents an overview of Gulammohammed Sheikh’s art practice over six decades and was released by Vivan Sundaram and Geeta Kapur, long-standing friends of the artist.

It was published by Tulika Books in collaboration with Vadhera Art Gallery and includes a monographic text by Chaitanya Sambrani accompanied by essays from US academics Marcia Kupfer, Coilin Parsons and Karin Zitzewitz.
