Rohan Nicol and Christina Clarke
This project draws together between 16 and 20 Australian artists and designers from diverse backgrounds. They will produce a new work that responds to an existing or prior work of their own that will be exhibited on a shared platform. The participants have been encouraged to readdress the idea that drove the original work and this may involve remaking, extending or reconstructing what exists. They will engage in a direct material dialogue with themselves - and when exhibition adjacent - with the ideas of their colleagues.
Artists whose works will be exhibited in the show include Julie Blyfield, Susan Cohn, Kenny Son, Mark Edgoose, Alison Jackson, Lindy McSwann, Larah Nott, Joanna Zellmer, Andrew Last, Oliver Smith, Sean Booth, Gilbert Riedelbauch Kirsten Coelho and Gretal Ferguson.
