Printmedia & Drawing

The Printmedia & Drawing studios provides courses and facilities for students to explore all aspects of printmaking and related media. Courses equip students with a range of practical, critical and research skills which prepare them for careers as practising professional artists. With the expertise of its academic staff, a broad range of technical facilities, and its location close to Australia's national collecting institutions, the ANU School of Art & Design Printmedia & Drawing Workshop provides an excellent environment for study and research. Printmedia & Drawing students have access to facilities in etching, relief, lithography, and screen printing.

Book studio

Book Studio resources include an intaglio editioning press, relief print drying racks, an intaglio print drying cupboard, a Graphix cylinder proofing letterpress, twelve cabinets of metal type, a number of drawers of wooden type, a photopolymer relief-plate casting machine, a boxboard guillotine, a book guillotine, a bookbinding vice, assorted bookbinding tools, a simple computer setup with an inkjet printer, and a small display area.
