This exhibition of works from a private Collection (The Manton Collection) and the ANU Art Collection includes major artists of modern and contemporary Southeast Asian art such as Affandi, A.D. Pirous, Redza Piyadasa, Latif Mohidin and Wong Hoy Cheong. There are also loans of works from contemporary artists working in Australia Dadang Christanto, Savanhdary Vongpoothorn and Safrizal Shahir. An archival component traces the ANU School of Art's decades long engagement with Asian art.
