Annie Cattrell is the 2017 Stephen Proctor Fellow in the ANU School of Art Glass Workshop.

Cattrell works closely in dialogue with specialists in neuroscience, meteorology, engineering, psychiatry and the history of science. This cross-disciplinary approach has enabled her to learn in depth about these fields and informs her cutting-edge research. She is particularly interested in where art, science and the poetic meet. Annie Cattrell is Reader in Fine Art at De Montfort University and a tutor in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art, where she has been a since 2000. Cattrell has lectured in many art colleges including Edinburgh School of Art, Wimbledon School of Art, University of Ulster and the Australian National University in Canberra. Cattrell exhibits widely both nationally and internationally and has undertaken art commissions, including recently at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
