The Australian National University and Canberra Glassworks, in association with Ausglass, are proud to host Lino Tagliapietra in Canberra and we invite you to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime-event. The program of events consists of Lino, with his team of assistants: Nancy Callan, David Walters and Darin Denison conducting practice led research sessions with students at the School of Art over a period of a week. Lino will then participate in a Symposium on “The Venetian Wave”, which will explore the influence of traditional Venetian Glass skills in contemporary glass, and then conduct a five day demonstration workshop at Canberra Glassworks.
