It's been 25 years since Chats cafe opened its doors at the ANU School of Art, and it's been a central part of the artschool's culture ever since.

Founder and owner David Chatto, who originally studied in the Printmedia & Drawing workshop, has reopened the cafe in 2016 with an international team of staff including chefs trained in Paris. The cafe's new menu offers plat du jour, fresh baguettes, pastries and sweet treats baked daily in-house.

Chats cafe is open 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
