Chiang Mai University and Australian National University, School of Art come together for Chat2: Exchange

This week Chat 2: Exchange opened at Chiang Mai University Art Center. This exhibition is a celebration of the continual cross-cultural artist exchange between Chiang Mai University (CMU) and Australian National University, School of Art (ANU). Since the early 1990’s, artist/lecturers from both CMU and ANU have participated in a residency and artist exchange program. Through this program individual, hosted by the other school, make work, exhibit and exchange ideas about art and teaching.
This year the Australian artist/lecturers were invited to Chiang Mai for 2 or 3 weeks prior to the exhibition and make their work or prepare for the exhibition. The participants include:
